Email Is More Important Than Ever!

Email Is Used As An Online I.D. Similar To A Drivers License

Email Is More Important Than Ever! Email is more than a digital communication tool as initially intended. In addition, an email account is an online ID, similar to how we use driver’s licenses in society. We use Email Accounts for multiple purposes, communication, online ID, and as a security tool. In the early days of the internet, verifying someone’s identity was almost impossible. Online fraud ruled the day from the ’90s through 2019, but it has been reduced dramatically in 2021.
Using email as a verification security tool along with mobile phones has improved online safety. An email account is as essential as any other digital tool because it is our authentic online identity. The purpose of an email account is for us to communicate in seconds versus days and weeks using traditional mail. But now, email is used for so much more than initially intended.

Many Have an Email Account Because of all the Things Email Works in Conjunction With

Think of email as a smartphone; sometimes, it’s upsetting for some people when you call them. It’s a telephone, yet many people believe their smartphone is for everything but a phone call. It’s silly but true; after sending somebody an email and no response, they tell me I don’t read my email very often. Many people have an email account because of all the things email works in conjunction with and not the actual emailing itself. In today’s world, email is almost impossible to live without because so many businesses need it.

Email Verification Is Used By The Titans of Industry and Institutions As Proof of Identity

We use a birth certificate, driver’s license, signature, and social security numbers to prove identity in the real world. It’s completely different online because there is no way to prove who you are using real-world methods. As a result, email accounts have become a necessary tool for everything from purchasing to establishing it’s you, including the IRS and health care.

All online companies like Google and Amazon use email as the primary source of identity because they possess your registration information when you created your account. Most companies and institutions use email as a primary form of identity verification online.

Google and Microsoft prefer users are logged in on their browsers because it is more secure when they know who you are. In addition, many companies and institutions are using cookies, and email combined because the more layers of security, the safer you are online. When using a VPN (a virtual private network), it disguises your IP address, and banks and email don’t like that. In most cases, you have to prove it’s you through a verification process.

Protecting Your Email Credentials Is Critical

Everyone should protect their “Email Credentials” because that is how email accounts can be compromised. It’s more important than ever to be leery of giving out your primary email to anybody you are not sure is safe. The only way any major corporations contact you is through email. A cluttered Email Box is a sure-fire way to miss important business because the more garbage in your inbox, the less you want to check email.
It would be a rare day if you received a phone call from any major company or institution.

Big Companies Do Not Call You or Contact You While Browsing Online

There isn’t one single legitimate company that ever attempts to contact you while you are online. Companies and Institutions only communicate online when you are registered and logged in to their company website. So when anyone or anybody attempts to share online, you know automatically they are not legitimate.
It’s essential to have multiple email accounts so you can use one of them for official business and serious matters. It’s better to have a clean inbox without any junk mail. Since you can have as many email accounts as needed, there’s no reason not to take advantage and have multiple accounts.
